Final Day! Day 20!

All of the presentations were great! I did not do a good job, because I have been having problems with my eye sight, I only have one eye and its been giving me "fits" for the last six month. However, I have really enjoyed learning all the new things I have learned in Gaeti 2015. From the technology to the art classes, I will be using everything I have learned in my classroom, Al thought, I am not sure where I will be teaching yet, I will use the tools i have gained in my class. We were able to hear from so many great presenters that gave good ideas to use in our class with our students. Thank you for inviting me and I hope other teachers in the area will get a chance to attend as well.

The Native American presentation was interesting, I always enjoy the art class, but the tours where not what I expected! Having attended several science workshops at MSU I have seen the sites we visited today many many times. During the first few days we have been encouraged to collaborate among each other to prepare for our students to have the best outcome therefore, it would be nice if the different departments would work together when planning our tours and activites. Although, I have enjoyed these two weeks today was not a good day.

The activity of the day was completing a project-base learning art activity we started, which was very relaxing and finally Dr. Bracey, allowed us to work on our lesson plans that we will use in our classrooms.

Day 8
Our class participated in a activity called TBL, Team Base Learning. We where in groups of threes with one leader in each group. we were assigned an article to read within 15 minutes. I learned a lot from completing the  assignments. Students learn better when working in TBL groups. Great lesson. My favorite was the art class with Mrs. Latham, it was very relaxing to participate in a hands-on activity that was meaningful and engaging. We concluded with board games for our classroom.

The board games  were very helpful for me and I enjoyed learning how to create them
